With Rum Squall & Peppy San Badger breeding, “Rummy” is extremely kind, gentle, curious natured, people oriented and “easy on the eyes”. He is solid and sure footed on the trail, a willing traveler, not barn or buddy sour and rides out alone well. He is super on the trail and handles man-made and natural terrain with sureness and ease; including rocks, logs, steep draws, brush, live creek crossings, mud/bogs, wildlife and cattle work. Raised and used on a large cattle ranch he is accustomed to life with dog & cats under feet and heavy equipment and traffic traveling close to him. He has been started team roping as well as ranch roping. He has excellent ground manners, ties, loads and trailers well. He spends time turned out with a mixed herd of mares and geldings and “plays well with others”.

The past year he is adding to his resume learning the ropes of a busy training barn lifestyle and has gotten accustomed to the hustle and bustle of stall life, blanketing, arena work, and commotion. Currently spending time this fall/winter learning the ropes of the extreme trail on the National Mountain Trail course in Eugene, OR!

For a progressive youth or adult he's an all-around individual ready to go in any direction.
